It is great to be back to Hungary, the gig at Kisüzem was so much fun! Using electronics is full of surprises.. Tomorrow we’re back to Székesfehérvár with Burján Orsi & The Pálinkálom, playing at Öreghegyi Közösségi Ház, Monday evening, starting at 8 p.m., looking forward.

I’m starting in Budapest playing free improvisation in duo with János Ávéd. This film from 1964 was not finished but a lot of shots remained – without any soundtracks. “Silent or muted films with live music on every sunday at Kisüzem! This week János Ávéd (sax & effects) & Gabor Csongradi (guitar & effects) play on the unfinished film “L’Enfer” by Henri-Georges Clouzot.” Kisüzem, Kisdiófa u.2., Sunday, 28 April, 8.30p.m.

Workshop tomorrow, I’m bringing electronics, guitar and a microphone! Theme: “Mistakes/Risk”, leaders: Thomas Johansens (dance), Gabor Csongradi (Music), Makiko Ito (Light), Margherita Landi (observation group).

The location of the gig on the 18th has changed (!?) to Antarktica (Amundsenweg 1). Don’t go to Dokhuis for this concert! Starting in Antarktica at 9 p.m., some contemporary pieces, Pálinkálom, and a jazz group with a tabla-player!

This piece is a most exciting work for me, it is based on the concept and visual design of Emese Csornai, with the choreography made and performed by Silvia Bennett. I made 4 channel surround sound for it in which I’m using samples of acoustic instruments and objects transformed through electronics. The preview of the piece is on 10th April, 9 p.m. at OT301 and there will be a 15 minutes short version of the piece on 11th, in Melkweg Theater, also at 9 p.m.

We are preparing with The Pálinkálom for a studio recording session this week and going to play the next gig on 7th April, 9 p.m. at CC Muziekcafé. First time with percussion, we are very happy for Ata Güner that he joined us.
